WTB: C32 electromagnetic clutch for kompressor

Hi,

My eurocharged pulley failed, and when a I took it off, I noticed that the bearing was jammed as well. The inner part of the bearing has been slipping over the shaft of the electromagnetic clutch, thereby wearing it down from 32mm to 31.5mm.
Does anybody have a spare electromagnetic clutch available?

Worn down clutch shaft

Regards,
Erik

I believe the Chrysler Crossfire utilized the exact SC setup. eBay is most likely the best starting point.

The SRT6 and SLK32 are indeed exactly the same. I’ve also created a topic on the crossfire forum and already searched eBay (without any luck). Needswings doesn’t have anything available anymore, so my search continues..

What are the chances I go to put my IBF 65mm pulley on the same day you post about servicing the same thing? Crazy!

the solution I can offer is the bearing I have in said 65mm pulley because it doesn’t fit on my clutch: it’s too tight. (No caliper at home so I’m not sure by how much but it’s so close it’s ridiculous. Maybe that would be what works for you. NSK Bearing 32BD45DU

I have the EXACT OPPOSITE problem you have: my old bearing says part 32BD45DUM1 and the new one is 32DB45DU. the old one slides on and off easily, the new won’t budge no matter what I do. My understanding is that this is the proper bearing so I’m a little confused. This isn’t my first rodeo and on a project that IS NOT my daily I’d just pound this ***** on. Sadly, this car IS my daily and I feel the need to be gentle with it. Maybe that’s my error right there.

Thanks for sharing! My shaft has worn down to approximately 31.45 mm; I’m afraid your bearing still wouldn’t hold tight. I’ve ordered SKF Speedi Sleeves, which would theoretically exactly make up for the wear. If I think, after installation, that your bearing could help me then I’ll let you know.
