Who's Silver C32 on 57North yesturday?

Leaving the office after work, I noticed a silver C32 going northbound on the 57 at about 5:30. Is that anyones car here ?

It looked like it had silver 19" BBS rims, lowered with a custom license plate. I could not read what it said but the car was very nice. :y

Makes me want one now.

Ha ha!

I have a W210 with some mods. I was thinking about getting a W211 E55 but I really didn't like the feel of the brakes. Saw a few really nice C32's that were fixed up and now with the C55 out, it is getting very tempting.
I haven't driven a C class lately but was concerned about the size difference.
A friend of mine with a Pcar has been pushing me to get a TT so I may go that route but keeping my options open at this time.

w/ the vehicles that you are considering, seems to me you're in a different tax bracket than some of us here in the C forum are in :nix: if that's the case, I'd ditch even thinking about the C of any kind and like your buddy said go w/ the TT or even the GT3!!! :naughty: W203 or W211 shouldn't even be in your vocab right now :wwf: more like 996 or 997 :p

Yeah, it's not really about tax bracket, I am looking for a car that is sporty to drive yet it is realiable and durable. My experiences with MB have been favorable and that is why I am considering another one. The 996 and 997's are nice but I have noticed that by the time you get the car you really have to spend another $20K or more on mods to make the car nice. To me a P car is not worth $100k - $150K after mods (depending on the model). For that much money, I would rather get a stock used F 360 and maybe a Tubi exhaust. Dont think there is much more you need to do that to a Ferrari. It will also maintain better resell value if I decide to sell it.

So in essence, I am thinking about an AMG model for daily driving and style. :zoom:
