So which C32 should I buy?
I'm trying to choose from the following, all are via eBay and have clean carfax:
1) $33K, 27K miles 12/2001 build date, small dealer
2) $31K, 44K miles,4/2002 build date, command/nav & rear sunshade, regular servicing (via Carfax), big dealer.
3) $30K, 42K miles,2/2002 build date, rear sunshade, ex lease car, big dealer
I started off focusing on (1), I really want nav but can't stretch the extra $1.5k-$2K that it will cost so (2) is now looking attractive.
I drive ~6K miles a year so all of the original MB warranties will last me about a year.
Which would you choose as my head is about to explode

And, you should always get the newer one, which is 2002. Even it is 4 months different, but the resell price depends on the YEAR OF MANNFACTURE. ( at least this is true in H.K. ).
So No.2 is the right choice. Have I missed anything here? Why need to scratching yoru head?

What about color ? do you have a preference ?
I'd take #2.
In my case, I don't use rear sunshade that much, but I love the navi. It helped me out tremendously in an unfamiliar part of town. It looks cool too. But that's just me. It might be diff in ur case.
I'd contact your local MB to further investigate these 3 cars.. they have a way to do it based on their VIN #s.

you should REALLY REALLY consider Bi-xenons as an option in the car you pick, even though the options you listed dont include them...you're really gonna want them

Goosh , you guys have 4 years of warranty in USA. My car comes with 2 years only.
I would take the one with longer warranty period and forget the past records as long as the car dont look a mess to you.

Whoa wait. I was told by an MB dealer that if your car is not wired for Xenon, meaning if you dont have at least Xenon, than installing BI-XENON would be a huge job.
We're not talking about swapping the headligts, but it would involve wiring, replacing the interior switch etc etc. I was quoted $7,000 to install bi-xenon (parts + labor) on a halogen-based C32. I'm not about to spend 7K on headlights, so I ended up buying C32 that already has xenon. And yes, I so want bi-xenons right now.

It must just be me (or maybe because I live in the Bay Area) but I'm not too bothered about the lights, navigation however is another matter as it made life so much easier after we added it to our SUV.

To me, bi-xenon is not for the brightness. It's for the look.. totally different look.
Much prettier, during the day and at night too.

Your car needs to be switched to xenon present, its nothing, they do it through the ECU..
Don't got through the dealer..order from steve K (europe) and take the lights to a certified BNZ mechanic and have them swap it.
