where was the C43 AMG built
 

Hallo again, I wonder in what plant the c43 amg was built in? my car was produced December 98 as a 99 year model. Daimler chrysler took the majority of shares in the amg factory 1st of January 1999 so was my car built at the amg factory in Affalterbach or the Bremen factory, i think it was, but i'm not shure? i know the build the E 50 or E 55 at the amg factory but not the cheaper ones? do they build all the amg cars on the same line today as the cheap ones?

I actually can't tell you where C42's where build but today they build AMG's and non AMG's in the same factory. Only if you have a special order (another exterior color, leather etc.) then your car goes after it was build to the AMG factory.

Only SLK/CLK blk series are build in Afalterbach and also the CLK DTM

Only the engines are built at the AMG Factory. (Excluding such rarities as the Clk Dtm and what not) Besides your motor the rest is built by mercedes. This is for current cars(03' til pres.) . The 2002 W210 E55 was the last car fully assembled by AMG. As for whether or not the entire C43 was assembled there I would have to assume so.
