sigh. One day.

MBHustla858 08-07-2008 11:03 PM

this is the 2nd time this car has been on ebay, the 1st time it made it up to 14 and the guy didn't sell it, 14 grand is pretty much top dollar imo

PJmak 08-07-2008 11:23 PM

the price on that c43 is right, even a lil low if you ask me, consider the milage, rarity, and the fact that this car will one day be a classic

so if you think even 14k is to much, go buy some american or japanese car

+1
i think the car is a steal at that price

take in consideration there's only 25 2000's in the US, the only ones with touchshift, a huge step over the regular 98/99 c43 trannys.
there's been 2-3 already just on this forum known to have been totaled.
2-3 that i've seen for sale with over 100k miles on them.
so if that's same trend, lets just say 50% of the remaining ones have high miles, and lets say 5 or so in private collections with really low miles.
that would leave about 4 other cars in the whole US, that are this clean.

yes i know, weird way to look at it, but it's a possibility.

the other thing is what i've noticed over the years, whenever you look for a nice or even mediocre 2000 c43, you never find it, they rarely pop up for sale, and a clean example like this is hard to come by.

+1 for rarity, 1 of 25... damn

Spoke to the seller, the car is in Vegas and will not be in the bay area until second week of September. Awaiting a response as to "why?"
