2002 CLK 320
C43 Swap Q?
My friend has a 95' C280 and is swapping for a complete C43 motor w/28k miles. Were wondering if he will have to change his tranny, and will any other modifications need to be done?

Yeah, you have to get the tranny b/c the C43 has a 5 speed, whereas the 95 280 will have the 4 speed. You will also need the ECU. I am not too sure if there is anything else, maybe a larger MAF sensor?

Getting a new tranny won't be to bad since he's getting the motor,and ecu etc...... for $3500.
