Finally got my import camber arms
I'm really happy now, today my camber arms arrived to my home.
These camber arms are rock solid, thick as a phat sausage on steroids!
I like em' alot
I bet they will be worth the bread I had to fork out to buy them?
I went to an alignmentshop.
Adjustable camber arms are not very common in Sweden, these dudes had a hard time to understand everything about this mod.
Can ya please explain to me what to tell them, so I can explain the same sh-t next time I visit them?
So my question is:
How much from factory specs can these camber arms be adjusted to get the best specs for a long and healty life for my new tires?
Is it between 0.5 - 1.0 degrees from factory specs?
I only use factory springs and shox, only mod I will do is changing to #1 pads = 5 mm all 4 corners and possibly front suspension parts.

Did your new align set up differ from factory specs?
I don't know how to read these numbers!
I will show this list to my shop and they can compare the factory numbers vs your specs.
I know the numbers might differ, but maybe they are close to each other?

Those camber arms look nice and solid. Did you buy them at your local Lidl shop? (plastic bag). Didn't the arms come with mounting instructions? If not I can get to you some explanations if you need them... If you want some long life from your tyres, I recommend you dial in a minimum of negative camber on the back. That will also improve your traction as you get more tyre footprint on the road, but you may loose some grip in the corners though.

There were NO fitting instructions, I'll tell my mechanic to use the old camber arm as a template with the bolts inserted and then extract the new adjustable camber arms onto the old arm to get the exact length to fit the rear axel.
Is it a good idea to do dis?
I will put the MBArts logo on the outside near the rotors.
I also got 8 washers.
About the washers they are pointy on one side and full round on the other side, how should they be installed correctly?
Pointy side of the washer should be placed towards the inner boltheads or the outer side towards the rear axle mounting?
Please give me some more input for installament.

There were NO fitting instructions, I'll tell my mechanic to use the old camber arm as a template with the bolts inserted and then extract the new adjustable camber arms onto the old arm to get the exact length to fit the rear axel.
Is it a good idea to do dis? Yes get the measurement from the old arms and copy to the new. That will give you a "base" figure for installation. When done, do some kms before getting a suspension alignement.
I will put the MBArts logo on the outside near the rotors.

About camber degrees, next to zero degrees is it the best setup? 0.0 - 0,5 degrees?
I hope the alignment shop knows what they are doin?
It would have been great to know the standard factory specs for our cars and then work from there.

What I posted are the factory specs,
AMG is recommending you have a max rear camber of -0°48' and a min of -1°48' (either way they are suggesting negative camber as optimal), 0° would be over what they are suggesting.

Fair enough! Have to check the measurement on my C240T as it seems to have more - camber than the C43 but doesn't have more wear on the inside treads

I would be surprised if the C240 had more negative camber than a C43 (I could be wrong) as the C43 is more performance oriented and more negative camber (to a point) = better cornering so I would assume the C43 would be spec'd with more negative camber than the C240 (again I could be wrong)

when I do my B-service I will also tell my dude mechanik to install my new camber arms.
I'm not sure how the washers should be installed.
I took 2 pictures, I've marked them pic 1 and pic 2.
please can you tell me which picture with the washer placed on the rod end head is correct?
I received 8 loose washers in a fishnet case, I have seen other camber arms with washers permanently fitted to the rod end head?
Mine are loose.
Should it be like this?
I found a picture on club202 forum and there was a nasty picture from an adjustable camber arm.
Is there any risk after install like the bottom pic with my loose washers?

I have the same camber arms and picture #2 is the correct installation. Do not worry about these camber arms, I did my research before I bought them and they are TOP NOTCH.
When I had them installed the installer complemented me on the camber arms and told me he thought they were the best he had seen.
I can vouch for the durability as well as performance as I have definitely tested them THOROUGHLY

I had to ask which way to place those washers, I wasn't sure about them!
next week is time for a B-service on my car, I'll do the camber arms as well.
I'm confident in my camber arms thanx to my brother 503C43///AMG advise.

Forgot to ask?
I bought 2 sleeves which are mounted on the factory camber arms.
Is it necessary to use both them sleeves on my new each adjustable camber arms or are them sleeves not needed?
I was told them sleeves are to keep the bolt in place?

You will not need those... Everything you need should have been included with the camber arms

I can use them sleeves on my other support arms.
I've almost got them all, there are still 2 arms I need to get.
Only things included with my camber arms was 8 washers, I didn'tt get anything else?

I foggot to ask?
what is the best lubricant grease my mekanik can use to grease the endings on the adjustable camber arms?
end heads have teflon coating rubbers to avoid squeeking noise.
therefore, are these teflon thingies sensitive to any lubricant grease reacting negativley and then go bad?
can my mekanik us copper paste or white lithium grease or nything else to kill the eventual noise that might occur when driving?
I have t0 tell him what lubricant he can use on my camber arms end heads.

Well the mechanic is my bud so, I can get a great price rather than letting my car go to another shop.
My mekanik told me it will take about 2hrs per side to swap them parts?
Only things missing are new shox, so I might only have a 25% improvement with them parts mentioned above, 100% is full front/rear suspension overhaul, I'm not there yet, I bought most of my rear support arms, but other stuff still missing.
These front suspension parts I bought are frikkin' expensive to buy in Sweden!!
Therefore I always buy expensive parts from Germany, UK and USA.
I can't gain or vouch for those aftermarket stealershops in Sweden!
Swedish prices has always been arbitrary b-coz the price competition between different shops is weak here in Sweden!!
Fuuk em' I don't pay excessive prices!
