it isn't yours right? why is the engine cover different then stock seems to be from the v6? I rather buy my cars stock you don't know what kind of things he has done with it, it's stange to invest alot in a car and sell it cheap seems to good to be true. nevertheless it looks pretty tight.

This car could be a mystery and I'm beginning to have doubts....
The seller talks of:
"...82,000 miles / 132,000 km (all gauges are European spec kilometers).."
The picture shows the speed gauge calibrated to 260kmh. My 43 shows a speed dial to 280kmh. My basic c240 shows a dial to 260kmh. Could the dial shown by the OP be just an AMG kitted w202. I am confused to say the least

huh the speedo is in mph while the distance counter reads km? I think this is just a 240/280 v6 with supercharger making 300hp max, and I also don't see 50k upgrades more like 10/12 max

Agree and the engine cover looks very much like a 240 or 280 V6

maybe his AMG engine cover didn't fit after installing the supercharger kit?
many people put E430 engine cover after installing superchargers to their engines.

That car looks like a C43, only the owner knows what it is.

The engine cover is from an ML55. You can't use the stock AMG airbox with the Gen 1 HPS kit. I don't know about the gauge issue, but the car looks every bit like a real deal C43 to me.

Simple, just run the VIN. It's a true C43. Don't know what's up with the dials though. Guess he thought it'd be cool to have someone go in with star and change everything to metric? And throw in a speedo in KMs?

Its originally a Canadian C43 hence the km's and hvac C's instead of F's.

Getting a USA cluster doesn't make sense as they can't program miles into those older units like they can newer ones...plus its important to keep the pedigree of an AMG correct...meaning its a non-NA car, so it should be that way.

It was properly federalized according to the CarCheck records...so its legal in all 50 states for sure.

Damn fine machine IMO, and a true contender w/ that SC.

from the pix it looks exactly like it did back then, maybe it didn't have superprint but rest looks same...
