Indeed a very low kms example making it a "as new" vehicle. You can also see that on the photo of the chassis.
The only question I have is why the MY 98'. My understanding was that the C55 model was produced in late 99' and 00' as a special edition. However, the asking price is too steep IMO. If it was a McLaren version then maybe it would be worth that price. Just my 2cents worth

did any of you notice the AMG logo on front spoiler?
was that a factory option like on C36 front spoiler?
my car never had the AMG sticker on front spoiler.
car is not fully optioned, it's missing a few stuff
I've never seen or heard about a McLaren C43?
I've only seen some info on UK based forum about one guy claiming he owned one, but never saw any pics about this mysterious car

Thanks Jason for adding the link to the description of 2004 which I had forgotten. It seems that this version of C43 produced 390hp. That is wicked if true!

There is plenty I do not know, I just know more than you 
Here is a link to the C43 I was talking about. He has a blue C43 (RARE!!!) with the Labrador metallic blue designo interior, he has every option possible on a C43

did it come with full power options from factory?
I notice it doesn't have parktronics.
that 300 cluster is hot!
will fit mine soon.
and after that being done, I will sell my other 300 spares.

If you install the 300 dial, you need to get the corresponding speedo mechanism as the reading scale of the the needle is different...
If you have the cluster containg all the dials, then it will most likely work
As you know I have the dial but not the corresponding speedo so I'm waiting to do the transfer. I may get in contact with VDO to see if it's available

it's very rare today like gold.
i know people who has the clusters from w210 prefacelift, same style cluster for c43, i have that cluster with minor tweaks and modifications, my MB-tech guru Baba Ganush will do the swap

I do not know him personally but I spoke to him when I tried to purchase it,he would not sell unfortunately!.

I have some stuff for my future mod and some spare stuff for sale.
parts are unfortunately rare and so is availability to find them nowadays.

there was never a CLK55 AMG back in 1998-99 which means this cluster will only fit non AMG w208 CLK cars.
facelift w208 CLK with AMG engine had 300 speedos IIRC?
my cluster is actually a w210 cluster which will fit w202 with tweaks, however
temp and clock will show in centre display.
my tweak for c43 will be I do some scavenger part snatching from 300 cluster and refit my c43 cluster.

thanks for this - I wondered if the 300km was discontinued, I could not seem to find them in EPC!.
I would actually prefer to run the updated CLk55 cluster If I can, does this cluster fit perfectly in the W202?,I understand there will be issues with command,and info like gear selection etc etc but I have seen them installed before so they must work to some degree!.

that will be removed and I will use my c43 display.
I will only remove necessary parts from 300 cluster and refit to 280 cluster.
you need some Maqgyver skills to do the mod.
my tech guru will do this for me, he knows what to do.
it muy importante to know the right peepol taking care of your car for special mods.

where you have clock setting buttons + -, you notice the deeper design.
both sides will be sticking out a bit on w202 dash.
maybe this cluster can be fit but you don't have the tiptronic or onboard computer functions on w202, this will be useless.
better find a w202 AMG cluster and do some expensive tweaks if you want the 300 design.
you will also recieve pixel problems with newer cluster.
the RPM's are not correct as they redline @ 6000 rpm's, c43 goes to 6500 rpm's
