'98 C43 for sale $1200 obo
Hi,
I'm selling my '98 C43 for parts or as a project car. It is not running and has several mechanical issues. It was my daily driver and I'm tired of dumping money into it, so I bought a new car.
It needs at least one of the following to get the engine running: MAF sensor, 02 sensor, Smog Pump or Idle Control Valve. It was idling fine before, but wouldn't go over 2500-3000 rpms. Then I started tinkering and it got worse. May have vacuum leak somewhere.
Also, there's a leak in the tranny pan which caused it to go into hard limp mode. Two of the holes are stripped out and require helicoil. Transmission might just need to be sealed, filled and reset. It's currently stuck in 1st gear.
Has new: tires, radiator, coolant level and temp sensors, windshield wiper motor, fuel pump, & fuel filter.
I'm willing to yank parts off if the price is right, but I'd rather sell the whole thing and be done with it. I live in Virginia Beach, VA.

I never had a C43. You sure it's sold? Would have done a 55 swap and blower. Fun little project

Yup. I pmd him back when this thread was created. He finally responded this week saying it was sold. Damn shame. Hope it ended up in the hands of someone who'll fix it.
