Totally agree with the lonely amg driver, especially the 90's stuff. only people who noticed are hard core enthusiasts of which hardly exist^^. I took mine in for a "proper" alignment at the dealer the other day,the service lady gave an odd look when I said its a C43 and was even more stumped when she realized they sold it new .

i understand what you mean...people don't know what real classy cars are...went to the dealer this week and the girl at the counter ask me for what model i wanted parts, i told her and she didn't even know if i was joking or if i was serious LOL...so imagine at the car show...nobody knows what kind of car you have so they pass by...
But at the same time i don't care , because when i seat in my car the only thing that matters is that confort and that engine sound

To me its just hilarious that I see people driving these newer cars, that almost seem like one time use and throw away cars, for example: kia, Hyundai, and some others. I've driven some of theses newer cars and they feel like plastic playschool cars. The W202 on the other hand was a quality built machine and even to this day, well kept examples have aged very well. I personalyl would rather drive something older but built with pride and craftsmanship than the newest assembly line hybrid. Not to mention, I just like performance cars. All in all, the W202 to me is a very special car, partially because very few know about it, its a lonely life, but that's why we need a 202 meet!!

I organized one last time but no one showed. We have to set another one during the day.

That's kinda why I started the "where are you from thread" maybe it would lead to some of us getting together. Seems we are scattered throughout.
