Need new Computer ECU maybe Mercedes C36 AMG 1995 Help
OK so here is the deal.. I went cheap and it is costing me.
I recently had my old Trans swapped after if finally gave out at 210k. I took the good running trans out of a 94 E320 and it worked fine. But fast forward a year and I find out that the shop instead of taking the sensor off the AMG transmission they instead just cut and spliced the harness and made it work. Now my computer is all wack and I might need another harness.
Question. Is the wire harness to the transmission a different harness than the one to the Fuel injectors?
Question 2, Can the original computer be rebuilt? or does someone have one? (1995 model)
Other than that its a perfectly running clean original car. That I cant drive because it goes into fail mode and runs on 4 cylinders after it shifts out of 1st to 2nd. ACK

Your trans is vacuum operated and does not have a ecu function. Your issue is likely related to the engine. Is the wiring good on both the wiring harness and throttle actuator?
