If you decide to go with these insulation spacers, you will have to use stock gaskets with them..

VISRACING off eBay but I waited 5 months for it to arrive in London well worth the wait. The hood was made in China then shipped to the US then flown here

Hi Micky it’s a BMC oval universal carbon intake a bit of cutting the hoses and 45 degree alloy pipe and ite fits well
the factory air box it quite heavy plus it use to hit the strut brace the new BMC intake does not

Kowalski, I use the stuff in my Ultima build. I'll post some links later, but I get a lot of my stuff at Nimbus Motorsports. Not cheap but excellent quality.

Looks decent stuff. Don't know how thick it is. The aim is to reflect the heat away so it soaks in a minimum amount.
The air box (my old standard one) is 68cm x 40cm give or take, including cobwebs

amen. I'm finally at a point in my life where I can buy unnecessary stuff for my car and the headers are just a lost cause.

and I suspect they are the biggest choke point for the power in a C43 or C55, after seeing the difference they made on my my E55.

I suppose at some point I will have to have some headers custom made.

But I have a spare set of used kleemann midlengths from my E55 I'm taking off, they have a leak at the collector and I'm going to have them repaired. I might see if they can be bent to fit the w202 but I hear it's damn near impossible.
