the the covers are painted. I’m pretty sure my dyno is at the crank is was a few years ago so 320 BHP at the crank

the factory air box it quite heavy plus it use to hit the strut brace the new BMC intake does not

Kowalski, I use the stuff in my Ultima build. I'll post some links later, but I get a lot of my stuff at Nimbus Motorsports. Not cheap but excellent quality.

Looks decent stuff. Don't know how thick it is. The aim is to reflect the heat away so it soaks in a minimum amount.
The air box (my old standard one) is 68cm x 40cm give or take, including cobwebs

1999 C43 AMG, 2005 E55 Wagon
and I suspect they are the biggest choke point for the power in a C43 or C55, after seeing the difference they made on my my E55.
I suppose at some point I will have to have some headers custom made.
But I have a spare set of used kleemann midlengths from my E55 I'm taking off, they have a leak at the collector and I'm going to have them repaired. I might see if they can be bent to fit the w202 but I hear it's damn near impossible.
