Coustom headers

Hi all my car has gone on holiday to PTR exhaust for coustomer headers the guy doing it is one of the best exhaust makers in the uk and he’s just around the corner from the AMG F1 team HQ in Brackley. I should get my car back by end of feb. I’ll post pics of progress as I get them. He charging me £1200 witch is good as the company that did the rest of the exhaust quoted me £1600

are headers/exhaust manifolds the same for LHD and RHD W202's??? ( i think they are)
if so.. what would a 2nd set cost?
i found out a week ago one of my ebay shorty headers is cracked and i got 2 broken studs (again) in my cylinderhead.
next weekend i swap back my stock manifolds and remove the broken studs. had this allready 2 times...

how many headers did your exhaust guy make by now?

The price sounds reasonable for a bespoke product which includes the down pipes. Does that mean you run without any primary cats? And if so how you you get around MOT emission test?

You could get some race cats installed and be done with it.

The old headers where so restrictive the new ones flow twice the volume as tested on flow bench that was with down pipes as well

Very nice work and well worth the $$$! It’d be awesome if you could post the flow comparison results. 👍

If you can go the extra cost, I'd get the manifolds and down pipes ceramic coated by the Zircotec people. They are definitely the best in the business and the stuff reallly works
