The sliding panel on the inside of the sunroof has two 4 X 10 in vent panels. The fabric covering has pulled loose from one side of these panels. If I could pop these panels out it would be very easy to
glue the fabric back in place. I assume the panels are plastic and I dont want to break them. Anyone know if they can be pried loose and rremoved ?

This thread was super useful for me. It is for a W210, but nearly everything on the W202 is the exact same. The first thing it tells you how do to is to remove the sunroof card. It'll be easier to fix out of the car. 3M Super 77 is the best adhesive to use.

If you damage a vent, you can purchase replacements here: https://www.headlinerexpress.com/imp...e236b7addd5ba0

Interesting thread but I dont have enough damage to go thru the process of removing the door. I just want to pop the vent panels out, not sure how much pressure I can put on them. The thread did not show exactly how to remove the vents.

If you can use the info in the thread that I posted, you can open your sunroof and then release and slide the sunroof card forward. You'll then have access to the back side of the vents through the sunroof opening and you can easily see the snaps on the backside to disengage the vents. Don't even need to take it out of the car. Once you're done, just push it back rearward and it should lock back into place.
