anyone done a full color change on a w202?
Including engine bay and trunk??
Disassembling these cars is a piece of cake.
I think I can have everything except the engine bay dissembled in less than a day and ready for paint prep.
Has anyone actually done a full body color change??
My car is worthless since its salvage and high mileage but its dear to me and Im considering keeping it for a while. Id love to have it desgno red or a nice designo copper orange in the future.

12' W204 C63 AMG coupe "T-Rex", 12' W451 Smart Fortwo Pulse (99' W202 C43 AMG sold)
Looking at the top photo, it rings some bells. I'm just wondering if it's not a real and rare factory origin C55

If I had to do a color change on my C43, I'd paint it Azure Blue, which sadly wasn't offered on US cars. I think it looks great with the tuxedo interior.

Its just a thought/wish for now but if it becomes a reality Ill definitely document the process .
Once I get my own house maybe by same time next year, Ill dare to start the tear down. I think once the car is disassembled, the paint job will cost me significantly less.
Car already has a 5.4 swap and a really good shape interior. Plus I have my dream wheels which Im working on refinishing.
Having it copper orange or red on silver two piece AMG rims will look epic. Especially with a nice drop.
These are the wheels I have below and this is the stance Id run.
