Black Badges

My car has the rear badge delete option and it's total sleeper. At the same time, something seems off without the badges. Anyone know of a place to pickup black badges for the C63S?

Try Ebay but the quality isn't the same. You can always talk to your dealer for OEM badges then paint them black.

OEM badges are like 100 plus a piece lol then on top of that you have to get them painted

Just fair warning, I have yet to see anyone black out their badges, then put them back on completely and utterly straight. Either one of them is crooked, both of them, or when viewed from a few steps back, one of them isn't lined up with the other one.

I'm OCD about this kind of thing, and the slightest crooked and misaligned badges drive me crazy, lol.

That's why I'm going to just order it with badges from the factory, and LEAVE IT ALONE.

I have seen brand new cars come in with crooked badges. So I don't say that either! LOL

Plasti dip is the way to go. It is so easy to use and if you get it wrong, or don't like it, just peel it off.

Go for a small aerosol can; will be plenty enough for badges. I did a grill and mirrors on a previous car with one can.

My only warning is make sure you cover the rest of your car well, especially if you are doing it outside. The wind can pick up the particles from the spray and carry them, depositing a very thin layer of specs elsewhere on the car. And that is a btch to get off.

Very nice TEAShea!! She is a beauty!

That phrase is in at least 2 or 3 movies. UHF used it but more for a parody.

I'd really like an answer on the tuning too. Will be ordering a C300h coupe as soon as they are released and after breaking it in, want to get the most out of it. TDI is the only place I've really found offering something, but, I don't want to be the guinea pig.
