Ordered c63s Coupe in September for build in Dec.
However asked the dealer to check on status and he advised no progress and that order is "frozen" not sure what that means?
Im a BMW order fan, once you place an order you can track its progress from factory to dealership so you never need to call the dealership for an update.

First it was going to be the 30th Dec, then 23rd, now 6th Jan...
Given how icy, foggy and horrible the UK is at the moment I'm happy to wait.

Ok, this is weird....I'm your fellow Canadian (Toronto) from a previous thread.
Earlier this week my dealer contacted me with details (earlier than first expected) as follows:
Production date: February 11
Planned delivery: March 27
Strange coincidence?

I think it makes sense .. will be on the same boat I imagine. If yours is expected March 27, there is no way mine will be here mid march .. maybe mid April if that's the case by the time it transits across Canada on the train .. unless mine catches an earlier boat, which makes no sense .. any which way, I'm not in a hurry .. we are having an unseasonable cold winter, freezing my ***** off over here.. salt everywhere, so I'm ok for April

Are you a 63S or a 43?!

And yes, as excited as I am about getting the car asap, the idea of driving this thing here in late march is a bit too ambitious. And we ALWAYS get a bad ice-storm here in early April before things thaw out.
Let's keep each other posted.

C63s - from Thornhill as well!
Technically I ordered a c63 (non S) back in sept with very rough eta of "around April". I changed to c63S a few weeks ago and dealer called last week with the more solid dates. There are a few of us Canadians here all expecting delivery over the next few months including our friend in Vancouver.
I wonder how many shipments they bring into Canada by quarter/month?

Back in Nov before I confirmed, the SA was confident it would arrive beginning of Feb. The lease on our Lexus expires Feb. 1.
I have a totally different experience from that other German car manufacturer. The build schedule on my new Turbo S Cabriolet has been fully laid out, with dealer delivery scheduled for Apr. 19.

My first collection date was 30th Dec,
then it moved forward to 23rd Dec.
Then back to dealer delivery 3rd Jan,
now UK docks 11th dealer delivery 18th Jan.
On the plus side my dealer has given me a E350d AMG line to use until my car turns up. Nice car, but not my type of car.
Fingers crossed delivery will be in Jan as I'm going to be out of the country most of Feb and will be unable to drive the car as it will be sat at an airport...

I've included a similar clause in the sales contract. They've agreed to supply a "comparable car" if mine doesnt arrive by Feb 1. when our Lexus lease surrenders.

So i managed to get them to find me a landed car kinda similar to what i had ordered, i got it at the old price and it is still a 2017 car, pick up on Friday when i arrive back in SA.
A bit annoyed that i didnt get all my options and that the car i chose has the Drivers Pack that costs $2000, which i think removed the top speed limiter (complete waste of money in my opinion, HUD or performance seats would be better).
Anyway pics to follow on Friday
