Nice. Will be interested to hear. Mine is on the boat on the way to Baltimore, ETA mid next week.

for those in Australia, i'm a newbie and never dealt with Mercedes before. If I'd get an aftermarket paint protection and windows tinting, would that void the factory warranty?
Never had any problems with the warranty regarding paint protection or window tinting.

It will definitely be in country sooner... as to whether I have it first, I sure hope so.
I'm just glad to discover I can actually build one on the Canadian MB site... at least I can see what it will look like.

Thanks Declan C. Hope you enjoy yours aswell! Mine was ordered back in January. When news came first of it. I know many CEO's or Managers of many Car Makers due to my vast car purchases, and going to the factory's to watch them be made. Mine was built uniquely, and so most of those options I have, but I changed many things not possible by many, or the Australia Market. Including Headliner colour, Red Seat Belts (not available at built, or ever for Australia Market), Rims I have the C63s Rims, minor changes and custom products installed at my request.

Nice! Unfortunately all MB dealers in the GTA, primarily the corporate owned ones, have been saying that even the first batch of C43's that hit Halifax week(s?) ago are awaiting certification. Apparently the CDN government went crazy on cracking down on 'cheating' vehicles after the VW debacle. Keep the updates coming - I'm sure a few of us have a car on the same vessel as you!

I'd almost say it's the USA that went crazy, and now there is a backlog... We piggy back on most of the EPA certification. I don't know if we even do any of our own. Wish they'd at least let them be delivered to the dealers but not sold. Seeing as it's almost a 2 week ride on rail to get it to me in Alberta. Now I'll have to wait for certification, then wait another 2 weeks for it to get to the dealer. But hopefully it gets sorted out soon.

That's all I have for an update, it's been unloaded and ship is off to it's next destination.
I've emailed my SA about if there are any delays and if he has an ETA for it in Edmonton. But so far no reply. I'm pretty much at the end of what I can track myself so I'll have to rely on my SA from here on out which sucks.
I've also emailed Mercedes Canada for any clarification on the whole C43 certification thing, but I don't really expect a reply/info from them lol

Received the VIN for my vehicle today! How can I track it? @Master-Spud, I tried your method, but the site just says "no records found". The VIN is WDDWJ6EB5HF466283, any help is appreciated!

I had free time on my hand and doing a quick google search the car does appear to have not been certified yet, both sedan & coupe (in the US):
http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/download.shtml
Its last been updated last Friday for all its worth. The same information can also be found on EPA's website too (both sites are kinda linked). I am guessing our neighbors up north possibly piggyback those results too.

Your car has maybe not been booked on a boat yet!,don't think you can do anything else apart from tracking your car on that website

You won't be able to track it until it is loaded on the ship, so depending on when it's built and when it gets delivered to the ship yard and loaded. Basically all you can do is spam that site and see if it shows up. You are pretty limited on your tracking abilities. I also wasn't able to get any VIN decoder to work either. Probably too new
