Well that's VERY interesting... now I wonder what's up with the coupes, and if mine is actually moving or not. But good to hear some Sedans are showing up!
Perhaps the reason the coupes are being held up is because they're coming from Germany, whereas the sedans are built in the US.

Hello again! After months of being under the radar here I am again! Got a pic from the SA and my close-to-4-months wait for the C43 is finally over! Should be able to pick it up tomorrow!
By the way for those of you that are waiting for your C43 sedan in North America I was told that there was a bit of hold up with engine certification (because of the emissions fiasco) but they have all been sorted out now!

I'm in Canada so options are easier (i understand that there are 3 premium packages in USA but dunno the differences - only 1 in Canada so I went for that). Got the AMG pack and the intelligent light too. also 360 degrees camera as i hate to curb my wheels. did not go for leather seats / AMG seats and intelligent drive - thought that it would save my a lil bit of $ and i heard mixed reviews about the AMG seats.
I got a pair of carbon fibre flics for the rear bumper. but i did not opt for any carbon fibre packages on the car. do you think i should put them up or do you think that it is odd to only have the flics in carbon fibre and not other parts on the car?

I'm in Canada too - so I know exactly which packages you are talking about. Which dealership did you order from? I actually got a little ride in a C43 equipped similar to yours (except it had cranberry seats) and it was amazing. You're in for a treat.

IMHO - I vote no for the carbon fibre flics. Don't take away from the natural beauty of the car yet. Once there are a lot more C43's on the road, then add them to distinguish it...but not yet.
Good to see them arriving! Tried bugging my SA for an update, but he seems to be ignoring me, maybe I've sent one too many emails to him...
Do you have a coupe or sedan on order? The Canadian coupe's won't be certified until sometime in October - my SA showed me an internal email that was circulated at his dealership (corporate owned).

Coupe... So that sucks... Looking at basically a November delivery then by the time they say it's good and travel time from Halifax to Albert... That's disappointing, but guess not that far off his initial estimate of Oct 24 when I first out in the order... Was just getting excited since it landed in Halifax already.... Ah well not much a guy can do.

thanks buddy lol I guess I will definitely have to do that now. Car is undergoing PDI and the dealership agreed to have them or on for me. Ran home to fetch it but somehow I have misplaced them and they r no where to be found. Problem solved I guess!

I was probably one of the first 3 to receive my C450 last year and I got it on Sept 25. So the timing is about right! Enjoy your rides and post up pics and videos!
It all now depends on how fast MBUSA can get em certified and shipped to dealers in the US as they still show TBD for gas mileage... But its great news nevertheless, mid-October seems realistic for the sedans at least

That's what he said, but as always take things with a grain of salt... but he is the President of the dealership, so one would hope he knows what he's talking about...
I have noticed on the USA website that it doesn't show the c43 sedan with a rear spoiler? Does it still come stock with a color matching deck spoiler or did they get rid of that and make it an option for carbon only?

That is terrific news Spud!! I believe you'll be one of the first on here to receive the coupe (excluding those in the UK and Aus) . If that's the case, you need to start an official c43 picture thread

Yes plan on breaking out my camera and taking some shots and video as there really is some lacking when it comes to the C43. Not really my thing but I'll do the best for the community lol
