New C43

Mine is in production this week, they'll finish it on July the 1st. Dealer says it may take about 15 days to deliver. It's a sedan, I haven't seen one yet in the flesh.

Got a tip from my dealer, my car left the factory last week and today is in Affalterbach, don't know what they're doing there (maybe collecting badges? ) so it may be here in a couple of weeks

That's great news, October seems so far away for our scheduled delivery. We need lots of pics when your C43 arrives.
Still toying with adding the Carbon Fibre mirror and spoiler pack, but it's £1,200 ...

Got into contact with my sales associate today, he was able to secure an official 9/3 build date on my C43 Coupe here in the US (I ordered on the first date ordering opened but it had not been allocated a build date yet).
He said with this being delivered from Europe that it would be best to assume a delivery here in the US of around Week 3 or 4 of October.
NOTE: I requested to have the HUD added to my order, as a result the system would not allow him to take out an August allocation unless an existing allocated had it (i.e. they are at capacity for parts availability)...all existing August allocations with HUD's were 1) already marked as SOLD vehicles, so he could do no allocation trading and 2) on Sedans.
Hope this helps out some of the fellas with questions on timing.

Today's new update from my dealer, it looks like they're taking it easy in Affalterbach with the 1st batches of C43 sedans. Delivery is going to be delayed no less than a couple of weeks...

I am considering ordering a C43 AMG Sedan (want that 9-speed) - any advice on getting discounts if I order one? I plan to lease it -- this is my first Mercedes.
Thanks!
Thanks!

All depends on the dealer and the situation, just have to negotiate like a champ. There's no one size fits all method.

I guess are there any universal discounts that I should be looking at? Like there is a MB fleet discount (which unfortunately I don't think I qualify for) - is there anything else I could do?

5-7% off is a good target to land on.

my sales guy also has my car in the first 10 days of september production. And he said week 3 or so of october (i'm on the west coast). maybe we'll be on the same boat if you are also west coast.
This next 3 months is gonna be tough. But i'm so excited because this car is going to be such an upgrade

Agree 100% the next 3 months are going to suck. I first ordered back in March for a C450, and waited 2.5 months for that before changing my mind to wait for the 43 Coupe. It was definitely the right decision for me, but tripling the wait time has been tough. I first considered ordering the C450 last August, so I'm looking at 14 months total when all is said and done hahah.

Awesome, hans! I'm in the Midwest, but they could still come in on the same boat...yours just may need to travel further on rail/truck.

the coupe just looks amazing and given it costs basically the same i'm glad i made that change (i'd probably be considering some huge discount on a C450 otherwise, but i figured, hey lets get something gorgeous this time) . i had actaully almost went for an M4 at the end of last year on a fairly large discount, so i've been itching to get something for the last 7-8 months or so. glad i waited as well.

I actually went through the same debate, originally had a c43 sedan on order. My salesman moved dealers and tried to get me to switch my order which started a price war. So took that opportunity to switch to a coupe instead of the sedan and got a better deal than my original order!
Figured I have my crew cab truck if I really need the space, and I'm a single guy so why do I really need the sedan! Now I'm into the waiting game, they are saying an October delivery as well up here in Canada.

Congrats on the switch. I think the Coupes look worlds better than the Sedans personally...plus the exhaust is more aggressive on them (per AMG) and they are rumored to have better steering, etc compared to the Sedans. Should turn out to be a good move for you, especially since you put together a better deal as well.

Original deal was 1800 off msrp and 4 years prepaid service.
The new deal I was able to secure 5000 off msrp and 4 years of prepaid service. So they say prepaid for 4 years is like 1500 so a total discount of 6500. (would of bought the maintenance anyway)
