I damn near ordered the 63S when I changed my 450 order to a 43 Coupe order...but the PITA of the winter months scared me just enough not to.

C43 Sedan
My SA sent me an e-mail telling me that the C43 (didn't mention sedan or coupe specifically) will be launching near the end of next week in the US, or the beginning of the week after.

So I'd expect to see it launch Oct 20-26.

My SA said it will be delayed a little more because MB wants to launch the sedan 43, coupe 43 and glc43 all at the same time.. the GLC43 is holding everything up at this point. He's guessing first or second week of November

Everything his SA has told him so far has been wrong.. We've told him to refrain from regurgitating his BS, but I guess it'll never settle in

C63 S Coupe Edition 1
Thanks everyone! I pulled the trigger on the C63 S.

I really hope they eventually release a 4Matic version, folks in brutal winters deserve the choice! I'm still sure the C43's will be great though.

That looks gorgeous!
Did you lease or purchase it? Wondering if the wrap is worth spending on a lease??

Going with the purchase, and no wouldn't say the wrap is worth it on a lease... But I plan on keeping mine for quite a few years (2 vehicles, single guy, low KM's) so figured it was worth it to keep it looking new!

Yeah, that car is stunning...it's hard to go wrong with that choice

Plus, I think Ed1's are the only way left to get a C-Class with the performance seat designo combo.

Did anyone get the Intelligent Drive Package with the Distronic Plus, etc? I wanted to know if anyone actively uses these functions while driving.

Friend of mine has a TLX with all of these nannies and he hates them and turns them off.

I was originally wanting the IDP but I think based on his experiences with nannies it's not worth the substantial cost.

Ditto - I was debating the distronic, but I don't think I would ever use it regularly. Good point - my uncle has a TLX elite and I don't think he's ever used those features either though. I just wanted to get this forums opinion because it seems fairly silent on distronic, as opposed to being pretty vocal about getting the performance exhaust.

My wife had a 2012 Infiniti with what was effectively distronic plus, lane keeping assist and blind spot warning. She used them around town and loved it. I used them on a couple of trips on the interstate and thought they were very effective in helping with idiots. I only used them once around town. I drove about 30 minutes and never did need to touch the brake or accelerator. Don't know about the MB implementation.

Any body's got the MF for one payment lease?
Are they offering any incentives for October? Since they are releasing soon, but I would expect to get the car in the end of October, is it wise to wait until November so that they may have better incentives? (I am not in a hurry to take delivery of the car)

Thanks.

I'm praying my Coupe is here by mid-week next week, at the absolute latest, as I planned a weekend trip to a B&B 275 miles away specifically so I could knock out a good chunk of the break in period (while also making the new lady happy). If it's not, this plan is going to turn out to be a major fail on my part. Fingers crossed.

This Edmunds forum might be a good place to ask the one payment question
