Hi All - ordered a C43 coupe recently, and hoping for a November delivery. Was wondering if there is anyone else from Australia here that has an order in and when you are expecting delivery?

Hi Declan, yes I'm in Brisbane. Ordered my C43 coupe in June, was built August 4 (a week earlier than scheduled), on ship August 14, now tracking ship on the way to Brisbane, due to land on September 24! It will then be a 10 to 14 day wait from ship to dealer to me.

What colours did you choose? Selenite grey with saddle brown here.

Hi StixPix - oh great, you won't have too long too wait then! I got my oder in at the end of May, but then decided to wait for a later build to get the HUD included (I was told the May one I had grabbed had to ship without). I also got Selenite Grey, and decided to go for the package which added sports seats, exhaust, and the upgraded steering wheel (as unfortunately those weren't available seperately to me) and also the carbon fibre dash inserts.

It feels like a long wait!

How are you getting such detailed dates? Did you get it all from your dealer?

C43 coupe configurator is up on MB Canada. MBUSA is still behind it seems.

Yes, the dealer should be able to give you a scheduled build date now. When built you can obtain the car's VIN. In a week or so after the build your car will be on a ship and there are various sites for tracking the ship to Australia.

I used https://www.2wglobal.com/ to find out the ship details (you go to Track and Trace and then enter the VIN in the Cargo ID field), and now using http://marinetraffic.com to track the ship.

I just checked CA configurator, and hell, why the car is THAT cheap compared to the US?

Guys, any insight if it is possible to buy a car from Canada while living in the US? Taxes? Duty? Warranty? How that works?

Base price is 5k more than the c450 was.

Base price for C43 is 59,500.00 canadian dollars which is 45398.36 US Dollar, while in the US C43 starts at $55,000
10k difference.

We've been thru this same song n dance with the C450 last year. After all the paperwork n import taxes the 10k difference is only going to be about 4k difference then factor in the transportation costs and time spent, you're only going to save about 2-3k max...not worth the trouble

Now I'm worried, had the 241 leather on my build (black with red stitching) and the climate controlled seats. Which the configurator says I can't do... Now I'm worried, are they switching my leather selection or leaving out the climate controlled seats on my build. As both were on the build sheet. Really want the climate controlled seats so hopefully they don't just scrap that!

Well just heard back from my sales person, he says it's being built with the 241 and cooled... so we'll see who's right at delivery!


On a positive note he said it is in production as we speak. So that's 10 days ahead of schedule as it was scheduled for Sept 10-19th! So hopefully that means delivery before the Oct 26th estimated date!

Hope all goes well for you spud. Did you order the ARTICO/DINAMICA seats or the AMG leather seats? Both come with in black with red stitching.

Amg leather... Which is also what I selected on the configurator... But oh well in production now, no changing things lol

FWIW, the amg leather seats MUST be selected in order to get the cooling option. Your build is most likely correct

ALL C43s in the US had been delayed until late December - as told an hour ago by my dealer. They told me it would release soon just two days ago.

Ya I'd like to hear it from another source for sure, as I've found dealers and salesmen don't seem to know a damn thing on what's actually happening. Or maybe just the ones I deal with lol

No way December !! I hope you are wrong .
My dealer in Canada told me first delivery for c43 should be in October , I ordered mine 10 days ago and expected delivery is in December due to the diamond white colour .
