OK then, your negotiation still netted about $933/hr. Not bad.

There is nothing like lease residual percentages to drive home what many of us may tend to ignore: that most cars lose about half their value in 3-5 years, which on expensive cars adds up to a lot of money. So when worrying about an option that may cost $1000, we need to remember that we're losing about 8-10 times that much every year in depreciation. In other words, get what you really want because you're going to lose a lot of money anyway.

Had an offer for a 2017 C43, 3 years 12,000 miles, $1,500 down, $65,000 MSRP for $738 a month including maintenance. Problem was doesn't have the exhaust nor the Active LED lights. Had Designo brown though. Beautiful car, but going to order an 18 instead.

Yes. 9G transmission, and different packaging as far as options. Some new standard features as well like sunroof.

I think that's it.

I'm on a 2 year lease for 18k KM per year
$0 Down, my DOD was something like $1200ish, which consisted of first payment and $550 Sec deposit.

My payments are around $510 a month including taxes.

Hey, if you don't mind me asking what was the MSRP and the Selling price you ended up getting?

Which dealership in the GTA were you able to get a deal like this??

I'm in the process of looking to trade my 2016 VW Golf R and if I could get a deal close to what you are currently paying i'd be happy!

Thanks!

This deal is hard for me to believe. It's just too good to be true to be honest.

Calling false on this claim.

For the above to be true, the poster would have had to land about $17k off the sticker price of the car. Relative to MSRP, the dealership would have had to accept a $12k loss on the car to make this happen. LOL. Either he forget to mention a trade-in, or he's a few eggs short of a dozen.

It is, but if you read above my post I said how i'm able to obtain my price and that it wouldn't apply to the majority of people on here.

You won't be able to get my deal unless you know someone that works at MB Corp and is willing to share their discount with you. However if you want a contact that might be able to get you a deal you're more than welcome to contact me.

If you look at the posts above I said that I found it ridiculous how much regular customers pay for the same car. I also said that my wife works for MB Corporate. Why I posted my car details was because someone asked me to share what the difference was.

Ahhh, context. I don't find that too hard to believe in that case. 510 a month for that build is a steal - happy driving man!

Thanks,

I don't usually keep my cars long, I try to make money off of them or at least breaking even. So i'm usually in and out of car every 6 months - 1yr. With that said this has been one of the better cars i've had and i'm enjoying it so maybe I might stick it out. But i'm starting to feel the itch again to switch cars.

My brother from another mother. Picked up my C450 in July and am already kind of done with it...I think. It's my 4th car since 2011. I can't sit still and need to keep making a switch. I might have to do swapalease this time. I cannot see myself in this car for another 2 years.

Hi all, I think I have a good deal on a 3yr/15,000 lease for a 2017 C43 but would like verification. I am 5 months out from the end of my current C400 lease.

MSRP of $61,195 with money factor of .00137 and residual is 57% ($34,881).
Negotiated price is $54,255 (about a 13% reduction).

Drive off costs total $1,830 (includes first month lease payment of $720 plus standard acq fee and taxes) -- no cap reduction.

Thoughts appreciated.

Sounds about right.
If you're willing to lease for an extra 12 months you can probably get that payment to the high 500s.
(Only saying cause that's the route I took with a similar deal/reduction for my c450)

Great thanks. I was offered a 42 month lease which only dropped it to around $675 so not a big incentive for me (only lower by about $550 a year).

Is .00137 the base money factor?
What is the residual for a 24 month lease?
Thanks.

I'm no expert, but I can't follow many of your numbers. What does "67571 km for term 14 km a year" mean? Residual percentage normally applies to MSRP. 53% of $70749 is $37497, not $35584. If the residual value is $37497, then that would be about 50% of MSRP - which seems pretty low. Is the lease rate the equivalent of money factor? If so, it is pretty low (MF would be .00079), which is a good thing. Is 45 months normal in BC? I thought leases are typically 36 or 48 months. If travel allowance is 14,000 km/yr, that is only 8700 miles, which seems pretty low, and which I'd expect a higher residual value than 50% or even 53%.

AMG-C43
2017 C43 purchase price

Hello guys,

So I've finally did it and purchased my C43 sedan yesterday. Below are the details, let me know what you think. Personally I think I got a decent deal (from Vancouver, Canada)

2017 Mercedes Benz C43 4MATIC Sedan
Polar White
Black Artico/DINA
Premium Package
AMG Driver's Package
Carbon Fibre Trims
360 Degree Camera
Active LED lights

Freight/PDI
MB First Class Lease Protection
Pre-Paid 3 Services Package
A/C Fee
4 Tire disposal Fee
Dealer documentaton fee

MSRP: $65,690
Options: $6622
TOTAL: $72,312
DISCOUNT: $4000

Total PRICE: $68,312 (before taxes)

I had a trade in value of $28,888 as down payment with no additional cash down payment.

Paid $2888 at a 10% tax rate for my trade in at time of signing.

45 month lease @ 2.9% with 24,000/kms a year maximum.

First 3 payments waiver promotion. After 3 months my regular payments are $263.30 taxes in!

Let me know your thoughts on my deal.
