No option for dual bixenon headlight on C43?

Does MB not allow you to build C43's with the "dual tear drop" headlights on the C43? This was an option on the C450, but it doesnt look like the C43 on the MBUSA site lets you build one with these

for example: this C450 has the two teardrops

I believe when you get that style of headlight now on the C43, they are LED headlamps.

Pretty sure you have to get he premium 4 package. That includes the active headlamps with adaptive high beam assist. That should give you the dual teardrop. That is the option that made the change on the old cars when you could pick each option. Too bad it's all bundled in with all those other options.
Also I do remember a few people complaining that they needed to do just this and spent 7400 just to have the cool headlamps.

Looking at MB USA build page
https://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehic...-entertainment

Even with premium 4 you only get teh one tear drop with halogen on the inside. Theres no option at all for the active headlamps with 2 teardrops :confused:

I can't believe halogen is even an option on these cars. LED and Xenon are both nice though.

Nope, the adaptive with dual LEDs are what you are describing as "dual tear drop". I have them on my car. The adaptive LEDs are dual LED projectors, no halogens.

Here's a pic of the LED Active/Adaptive lights on my 2019 C43, they are all LED and move with the steering wheel and electronically move to a progressively longer brighter light if the road is dark, ie, they don't just go to bright, they gradually adjust the light output further, very cool on startup as they go through a self adjust routine of little squares on the wall. They also do go automatically to bright at the appropriate time but you have a lot of intermediate levels which is really helpful.
Well can't seem to get the pic to upload, looks like something wrong with ability to upload the pic, maybe some admin can check it out. Have uploaded before with no problem??? Wish you could see but guess not today.

^ thats the 319 lighting package on the 2019 w/adaptive highbeams and extra wide beastandarddard now is the reg LED even w/o the lighting package.. just w/o the tech and blue accents in the housing.

Also.. the single LED DRL (eyebrow) is for the C class, double for E class and triples for the S Class.... for distinction ...

Which 2019 headlight option is this?

But I do agree, the 2016-2018 dual LED headlamps were one of my biggest single selling point in ordering the C-class and the M276 engine and AWD is what attracted me to the C450..

Fresh out the dealer circa Sept 2015

Yes, option 319 Exterior Lighting Package includes Intelligent LED Intelligent Light System, Adaptive High Beam Assist. The lights don't just go from low to high as they did on previous generations, they gradually lengthen in throw and intensity depending on conditions and will finally go to High Beam as appropriate. They also turn with the car as the steering wheel is turned.

These are the MY19 standard "high-performance LED"...NOT the 319 Advanced Lighting Pack "Multibeam LED".
