what kind of discount did you get?

Hey guys, I'll be purchasing a c43 amg 2017 very soon (first time buying a car lool) and I have emailed many dealers waiting for their offer and I will be going in couple dealers in my area as well.

I'm wondering how much discount did you guys get? and out-the-door price. so I have an idea of a range I could get. Also, around what price would you considered it to be a good deal?

My specs are:
AMG driver's package
Premium package
Brilliant blue
Dark ashe wood trim
LED lighting system
Amg leather w/ red stitching
360 camera

MRSP on the Canadian site comes up to $67,320 CAD

Also, I'll be financing and I wonder if the amount of down-payment would affect the discount?

I ordered a c43 cabriolet and I got a 5% discount. I believe I could have done better if I took a car off the lot.

At least US I do not think your down payment will effect your discount. If you are taking advantage of special financing, it may make a difference but usually it is just your credit score and income which is needed to qualify.

There is another thread here you should look at titled "Post your C43 lease deals here"

Although it focuses on leasing, there is plenty of pricing information

3500 is a good discount. I have the exact same build, same colour, minus the 360 degree camera. I pick it up today. They also took my C400 back with 7 payments or else I would have got more, but I want the car now!

I purchased a 9k miles used 2016 C450. Dealer wouldn't budge on it since it was a special car.. same with a C43 I was looking at.. no budging on price.

But I got them to tint the windows and throw in a 3 year maintenance package = ~2k.

I got 5.5% off the MSRP on my C43. Maybe because it was my 3rd car from the same dealership.

I saw some of those discounts. It looked like seem people had access to fleet discounts, but given the demand for these cars in th USA, those discounts seemed high from just the dealership without a special incentive program from MB. Because I was ordering the car, the actual price might change for the better if MB runs an incentive program but I am not counting on it.

I would not use these higher discounts as the benchmark. Based on what I have read if you get 4-6% you are getting a fair deal. The incentives that MB is providing are only on the financing and lease rates.

2017 C43 sedan
$65,675 MSRP
Paid $59,107.50 (10% off) plus $300 dealer charge = ~9.5% off

No fleet discount, but I may have had a special case because the sales manager left between when I ordered and when the car arrived. I'm wondering if he gave me the deal because he knew he was leaving already and didn't care. The dealership was great and honored the deal with no issues.

I asked for a quote and theres a "Other Dealer options" charge of $2775 (Freight&DPI $2695 fuel charge $70 and $10 OMVIC fee)

Fuel charge and OMVIC seems reasonable.. but does Freight&DPI cost that much?? is it negotiable?

I purchased my C43 in March 2017. Very seamless transaction. I called and spoke to the internet manager who gave me 5K off over the phone for the following 2017 AMG C43:

241 black leather w/red stitching
736 ash wood trim
R02 Allseason tires
401 Heated/Ventilated seats
661 18" w/black accents

MSRP: $58,820

Loving it everyday!

Wow, that's a good deal! I'm in the market for similar C43, so curious to get more details if you don't mind:

How did you get them to reduce your financing rate to 0.1%, from the posted 0.9%?

What was the term of the loan? Guessing from the amounts that it was roughly 6-7 years?

What dealer and sales rep did you deal with?

Thanks!

Ah, that makes sense!... Thanks for the quick response - very much appreciated! Thanks also for the referral to the SA. I'm up here in Ottawa, so will see if they'll play ball. If not, I'll touch base with him - I have family and friends in Toronto, so easy to pop down for a visit.

Cheers,

Cheers,
I had the option of getting 0.1% on a regular finance without the balloon as well.. FYI

Wow - that could change my thinking!.....

Over what term? Through MB Finance, or the dealer?

Very much appreciate all the info!

If you are coming off another MBFS lease/finance they'll knock off 1% from the lowest rate. The best options are 0.01% for 60 months or 0.40% for 72 months. MSRP was $63,600 I got $4,000 discount and the 3 months payment waiver of $1950.
