H&R Lowering Springs?
Who has them and how do you like them? Also, if you have them what do you have for wheels? I have 20's on my car and I am considering getting these lowering springs. Is there anything I need to check or consider first?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I have those springs on AMG 18s on my C450. They drop a bit more than advertised after settling.
Depending on your tire width on the 20s, you probably want spacers since the wheels will look too tucked in.
I am running ECS Tuning spacers 15mm rear and 8mm front. (I had 10mm in the front but as many pointed out there was a tiny bit misalignment on the hub)
Anyways, hope that helps.

I would make sure to see as many pics as possible.
i put some on my Porsche and it dropped front and back over an inch - they did not improve handling (handling was already very very good) so it made my low car super dang low. aesthetics was great.

not sure if you were asking me - the ride comfort was affected on my porsche. i already had to come up my driveway at an angle in my 981.
i got towed once - good thing the flatbed had a hinge - my splitter would have been split.

I was just asking openly. On my last builds I used coilovers. Now that I don't plan to deviate too far from stock, I would still like to have it sitting a little prettier, without much sacrificed.

Can the OEM shocks handle the lowering springs?
I know in my BMW, adding just springs caused the car to oscillate (due to reduced travel on the shocks). The ride height was good and car felt more planted. I changed to coils within 3 months and was much more controlled.
Aside from the increased wear and tear being put on the OEM C43 shocks, due to springs, is anyone experiencing bumpy rides when they hit dips on the road?

It's just the nature of lowering springs.

It is more sensitive to ****ed up roads but that's normal. The ride is only slightly stiffer compared to stock since the OEM setup is actually already pretty stiff as it is, so I consider the difference negligible.

I feel like we are all guinea pigs with each of these mods but does anybody have a sedan lowered on these with spacers? The front does look weird with it being higher then the back

Not subjective at all...if anything it's stiffer. And if my comment is supposedly subjective then so would the claim that it was bouncy...correct? I also did not say you made the initial comment..
