a stupid question regarding performance exhaust button
I'm just wondering if the performance exhaust button on c43 is just simply a button for the sound? does it have anything to do with fuel consumption?

It's a beautiful button... the best button in the world!!! I love that button!! Has nothing to do with fuel..I wish my wife came with a button so I could press to quiet her down!!

Best I can tell so far, it's just controlling a signal to the rear muffler bypasses, nothing else. You would definitely see a difference in C vs. S vs. S+ simply due to the shifting points in automatic mode (C rushing to 9th, S seems to like 8th, and S+ seems to like whatever it damn well pleases)
