91 vs 93 octane gas

I will be moving to the midwest and staying there for the next couple of years. I am used to the 91 octane gas here in california. I know that 93 octane gas is available where I will be living. Just excited about it but don't really know what to expect in terms of performance and fuel economy gains. Did anyone have a change to switch between the two in a C43 and see any noticeable difference?

You'll feel the difference, not just in terms of outright power but I also feel that a lot of these modern turbo vehicles become more responsive on 93+ octane than they do on CA91. You may see an additional 10-15hp and quicker responses on the 93.

I used to run 2.5Gallons of e85 / 12-13 gallons of 91 when I was in California and had my Audi S4. It definitely made the difference with this "boosted" octane.

However, I've heard that the Mercedes fuel systems cannot handle additional ethanol. Anyone with experience?
