OK, in my continuing series (well, this is my second post) of newbie Merc / C43 cab WTF? questions, is it really possible that the cup holders are THIS useless?

I had my tumbler in the car today for the first time, and it almost fell over every time I took a corner. Granted, it's rather narrow (still held by the plastic inserts when the car isn't moving), but I never had a problem in my Audis as they have real cup holders below the armrest; it seems the C43's aren't deep enough. I ended up having to put it in the door with the cap very tight, which is annoying.

Anyone else?

Good to know. I have not had any problems but have used larger diameter cups. Will be more careful if I use a smaller cup.
