4 weeks delay on my delivery date, Any advise?
Hello my friends, I placed an order for 2018 C43 Cabrio few months ago and it was Suppose to be deliver on Aug 20th, now I've been informed that my car is produced and sitting in Germany and the earliest can get to Vancouver is September 15th, basically when the sun is gone in here. I was wondering if anyone knows what is my right?
My dealer said we can give you your deposit back and cancel your order, but Obviously after counting down for 3 months that's not a favorable option for me. any Advise?
cheers

It sounds like you might be SOL. If the dealership is willing to refund your deposit and let you walk away on a custom order, there might not be much you can do.
I would politely speak with the sales manager to see if (s)/he can offer you any sort of incentive for the delay. The chances are slim, but you must understand that delays happen all the time. This means that the dealership isn't really obligated to give you anything. You can express your disappointment, but try not to be that customer who makes a mountain out of a molehill.

I'd ask for some incentives - winter mats, key chain, hat, amg license plate covers, etc.

It'll be well worth the wait OP! Like I said above, it doesn't hurt to have a word with the sales manager (not your sales associate). Depending on the dealership, sometimes they throw in some extra goodies just to make the customer happy.

Similiar position to yourself's, but in Europe. Car received its final check on the 26th of July at the Bremen plant, but hasn't moved an inch since then. Even worse is that the dealer isn't able to provide any estimates on when the car will be here and I had a roadtrip across Europe planned for the end of August. Also, downpayment was 15% to start the build, so I don't have the option of pulling out either.

Anybody heard anything yet about the release date of the C43 Sedan? We placed our order on March 26th and are still waiting (as is other folks I understand). But it seems our dealer has no information on when these cars will be released (they do say it has been built already).
I guess I am just wondering if anyone has any information - cuz my dealer sure doesn't!

That is correct. The 2018's were officially released, via US Government approval, yesterday, August 11th. Cars on now being put on trains, headed towards dealers.
Should start seeing 2018's - the C series, including the C43, at your local dealers within 2 weeks. And those of you who ordered cars (such as me), should get them in 2 weeks or so...
