Installed 20's on my C43 Coupe
I know a lot of people have discussed putting 20's on. We did a lot of research on here before deciding, so thank you to all who posted there wheel/tire specs. Loving the final results.

looks really clean, nice job and thanks for posting.
i feel like the coupe either needs 20's or really aggressive 19's. I'll be making a move right after winter.

Have a feeling that going more aggressive then stock might do justice for some 19's.

The OP installed the tires size below. So for the front tire 35% of 235 = 82.25. For the rear tire 30% of 275 = 82.5 so the sidewall height is nearly is almost identical for the two tires and nearly a square setup correct? Am I missing something here?

I've always seen "square setup" referred to when talking about same size wheels and tires front and rear. It is still an offset/staggered setup on this car.

I'm considering this size tire too. My concern has been whether this much wider would fit and not rub the upper control arm in the front. When I stick my finger in there it's pretty tight with the stock 225.
Is the clearance tire to the control arm still good enough, no rub?

I actually want to put 235-40-19 on the stock front wheels but was worried they might rub the upper control arm. The 235-40-19s are roughly the same size as your 235-35-20s. Figured if yours don't rub mine won't.

You will decrease performance by doing such. That is too much tire for the width of the wheels (7.5inch), the contact patch will be no better even if you do run the wider tire (and the sidewall is taller), not to mention the tire will now roll over more easily which will numb the steering feel and increase body roll slightly.

Sorry for the revive, but was the OP on stock suspension? I am thinking of 20s but unfortunately I cant lower my car for parking and other reasons. I want to fill out the gap, so I was thinking of 20s vs 19s.
