C43 Tune - Sydney
Hi Guys,
Sorry if this has been asked before, I'm new to the forum.
Just got myself a C43 AMG a while back and I think its time for a boost in performance.
Anyone here from Sydney and can recommend a place that would do a custom tune? (preferably specializing in AMG/ Euro performance cars)
Has anyone from Sydney had a tune on their C43?
I wish I lived in the US and could go with an AMR tune but given the circumstances and difference in conditions a custom tune would be best for the car.
Thanks in advance.

Also anyone in Syd change our dreadful runflats yet?

Sounds great. Keen to see if you get a sunstantial difference out of the tune. Have you got anything else done to the car? I recently purchased mine, no mods just yet. Just working out what to do and where best to get it done. Keen to see how much more kilowatts you get out of it.

He's the best in the business. Thinking about removing my ECU and sending it to him.

No mods done atm, planning to install weistec down pipes to go alone with the custom tune.

Seeing him next week for a price quote. Will update when I find out tune price + installation of downs.
And yes I have changed the front run flats, front tyres tend to wear out much faster than the rears due to heavy driving/braking. Ended up replacing with Bridgestone Potenza RE050A's for the front set. World of difference with grip as my fronts were pretty bad.

Hopefully there will be, I'll see what Sonny says, ive seen some dyno sheets of our car from some SYD tuners only pushing about 250 atw after the tune, was wondering why there is such a substantial difference in power as the AMR tune (america) is pushing 290+ kw atw.

Also evolvetechnik website suggests their tune will get you 310kw. Warranted this is not at the wheels. I havent heard anyone that has gone thru their tune or what this looks like on a dyno.. id love to hear from anyone that has..
id much rather prefer going thru a referral. Keep us posted with the sonny conversation over next few weeks. I might start a discussion with him in a week or so once im back. Good luck mate.

Guys, had one of the best cruises last night seeing as the weather was perfect in Sydney.
Casually cruising with my mates (CLA45 and C63S Coupe [recording]) and what do you know a C63s sedan decides to fly past us.
Next thing you know, we hit a set of lights he decided to hard brake to stop at the lights just to race with me (geed me up lol)
Well heres the video and the rest was history. I had about 3 car lengths on him from launch for a good 4-5 seconds (yes he was giving it) then he turned off (probably from embarrassment )
Seriously cannot wait for this tune!

Hey Guys,
So ppdate with the tune, loving the performance but not so much enjoying the sound as I installed Weistec Dump pipes on it.
It makes the car very loud, more pops and bangs (loud). Low end performance was similar but mid to top was a world of difference. 830 NM of torque.
I may revert back to the old dump pipes with the cats as the car sounds wickedly loud even when the PE is closed.
