Here's the set up we used on my wife's car. I know this is an old thread but this was a hard car to get wheels and tires to fit. Plus we went with wider rims to go with wider tires. Everything fits great and no rub issues. Plus the new wider tirss grip like crazy.
Verde V39 Parallax
Front 19x8.5 30 offset
Rear 19x9.5 36 offset
Sport cup tires
Front 235
Rear 265

Didnt need spacers at all front or rear. It's a perfect fit and fills the wheel well better.

Finally got the chance to post some pics. Just got the custom TSW Mallory’s on with some Pilot 4S’s. With the H&R springs fills the wheel wells much better, than the stock AMG 18”s.
Decided to custom hydrographic them in carbon fiber with custom tinted MB center caps
Wheels: TSW Mallory: No spacers needed
Front: 19x8 eta 32
Rear: 19x9.5 eta 53
Tires: Pilot Sport 4S
Front: 235/40 R19
Rear: 265/35 R19

Hope this helps those who are searching; like I did when I was reading this thread. Next up still waiting on my CF hood.

Want to get some advice/opinions on a couple of options I have below. Will be lowered on H&R springs.

F: Forgestar F14 19x8.5 et 30 245/40 or 235/40 Michelin ps4s
R: Forgestar F14 19x9.5 et 42 275/35 or 265/35 Michelin ps4s

OR

F: Rohana RF2 19x8.5 et 33 245/40 or 235/40 Michelin ps4s
R: Rohana RF2 19x9.5 et 45 275/35 or 265/35 Michelin ps4s

Thanks!

Thanks!

don't run the 245/40 and 275/35 on ether - too tall - will cause steering numbness and more body roll - the 19x8.5 et 33 will need a small spacer to be safe.

personally both of those brands are meh to me - seen forgestar burn some customers with bad finishes and long wait times and rohana comes from a very dub background (big heavy wheels) but have been changing pace/diversifying with rf seres.

those offsets are nice..

rear should be just about perfect. however that's a bit of stretch on the tires.

Should I go wider on front tire?
235/35?

that would be far too short of a tire in terms of sidewall - 235/40/19 with a 265/35 for rear

Stance SC-9 by Stance Wheels
19x8.5 et32
19x9.5 et48
(Stance has a few other styles that will work too, however I cannot recommend 19x8.5 et35 without checking brake clearance with a template (for instance Stance SC-1 by Stance Wheels)

Two wheel choice by TSW in this fitment: 1. TSW Bathurst Rotary Forged by TSW Wheels 2. TSW Geneva by TSW Wheels
19x8.5 et32
19x9.5 et39
(would recommend the car be lowered and running OEM tire sizes)

Two more from TSW in this fitment: 1. TSW Interlagos Rotary Forged Wheel by TSW Wheels 2. TSW Nurburgring by TSW Wheels
19x8.5 et32
19x9.5 et41
(better off running OEM tire sizes so the rear tucks in)

Two wheels by Vorsteiner in this fitment: 1. Vorsteiner V-FF 107 Carbon Graphite by Vorsteiner Wheels 2. Vorsteiner V-FF 103 Carbon Graphite by Vorsteiner Wheels
19x8.5 et35
19x9.5 et46
(verified that 19x8.5 et35 clear brake calipers in the V-FF 107)

5 options from Vossen in this fitment: 1. Vossen CV3-R by Vossen Wheels 2. Vossen CVT by Vossen Wheels 3. Vossen CV7 by Vossen Wheels 4. Vossen VFS-1 by Vossen Wheels 5. Vossen VFS-2 Silver Polished by Vossen Wheels
19x8.5 et30
19x10 et55

and i would say do not go larger than 235 up front and 285 in rear. but 265 rear with a 235 front to match diameters.

if you do go with an 8.5j wide up front id recommend lowering as well. 8 inch can look fine unlowered. lowering the car ads about 5mm of play to become less aggressive (ie. a non lowered car with a front et of 33 8.5j will look similar to a lowered car with a front et of 28 8.5j

On the TSW Bathurst, would going with ET35 on the 19x8.5 up front help, without needing to lower the front end? If I am understanding/following correctly (which I very well may not be haha), that would bring the front in by 3mm?

Or would I actually need to go the other way on ET, and look for a front ET of less than the quoted 35? If yes, there are ET40's and maybe that would work?

edit: I will be running OEM tire sizes

problem is inner clearance. that will rub inner suspension at 35 - you would need a small spacer

edit: nevermind, misread/understood the post...as you can tell, I know nothing about this stuff.

So the ET32's up front won't rub and should clear the brakes? If I didn't want to lower the front end (due to cost mitigation), what would the negatives of that be? The tires look weird up front?

Discount Tire called TSW and they initially said "These won't work with the C43 AMG Coupe", but I am trying to have them go back to the manufacture to understand all options with spacers, etc.

those are typically fairly concave - might be best to see if they can test with brake template too. stock height doesn't matter much

Roger, thanks for the pointers. I’ll keep pushing Discount Tire to work with TSW to see if we can make anything work.

I feel like this car is absolutely impossible to find wheels for.

inhartwetrust 06-18-2019 07:45 PM

Could I go 19x8 (would the 0.5 reduction help), with ET40 and run 5-10mm spacers up front? I see that the Bathurst has that available. Or would that create even more of an issue for brake clearance?

Tires are 225/40/19 and 255/35/19.

Well, I've worked through urotuning.com and Discount Tire to confirm fitment with TSW, and they've said the 8.5 32ET will work on the front, but they are insisting that the 9.5x39ET will be too aggressive and stick out too far in the back. They are saying I would need offset in the rear of around 50.

Thoughts on that?

that is correct. i am about to be running 9.5 et41 lowered and it will be very aggressive. Stock height is happy in the et45 - 50 range

255/35 on a 9.5 will not look good either

Copy that, thank you. Should I look for 9 on the rears then? Or is that too narrow?

I thought in the post I originally quoted you were recommendating various TSW (and other wheels) with 9.5 rears and the stock tires?

yes - lowered stretched tires are fine - stock height it looks bad

just depends on your goals and overall look
