So I just hit my 1000 mile break in period on my c43, do you guys recommend getting a oil change to rid of any metal shavings etc like most people suggest? Also, do you guys just bring your car into the dealer for an oil change or do you supply your own oil? I’m not sure what Mercedes uses, but with my old car I was a little obsessive and used to buy Amsoil Signature Series Synthetic as most people value that oil the best. I’d love to hear what you guys use for your oil changes. Thanks!

1000 is too early to change it. That's just a waste of oil. I did mine early at 5000mi and then again at 10000 because I was a little concerned about break-in debris. I performed the 5k oil change myself and had the dealer perform the 10k one with service A.
