The button is there below the volume control of the radio? Put it in Sports + and it will light up red.

Try it out before you accept final delivery. If it's not there and you're willing for them to make it right with another car, don't accept delivery.

If it were me, I'd want what I ordered and was agreed on, and wouldn't take anything less.

It looks exactly like on the C450, nothing is different from the US. Power button is to power on/off the command system, not the exhaust.

i went there and they say that there is a performance system exhaust in my car but it's no selectable through the center control which means that the sound of the will be different in sport plus mood only
the thing is how do i differentiate between the stock exhaust and the performance one

Are you sure about that? Seems strange to me that the PE button is not selectable. It's very clear and obvious on the NA models.

Like others said, the button beneath the volume knob is the power button to the entertainment system. If the bottom one is the sunshade, then I have no idea..

mine is the one on the left and the right page for a different car you'll see it says selectable
the most important thing for me is how to know the difference between the stock exhaust and the performance one cuz i don't want to get ripped off

As others said there should be a exhaust button where your power button is. Cars with the PE button toggle the power by pushing the knob. I would guess they messed up. Maybe it's just missing the button? (my 17 came with power folding mirrors but did not have the button. I had to have it installed at the dealer)

If your car does have the PE you'll notice while in S+ as it automatically opens the flaps.

In the US, as far as I know, U78 is the option number for AMG Performance Exhaust. U21 is for the AMG Sport Exhaust (aka stock exhaust).

Don't be confused. It's very simple. When you get to see the car tomorrow, check out the exhaust in the back of the car. Just kneel down and look underneath. If you have the Performance Exhaust you should see the actuators connected to your rear mufflers:

You don't see them you don't have performance exhaust.

Pretty sure your car has the stock exhaust, not the PE.

They are either lying to you or they are ignorant. The car in the pic does not have PE.

From what everyone has mentioned, you didn't actually pay for the PE exhaust. NYCSoil has the clearest explanation quoted above. Your slip clearly doesn't have the U78 PE Exhaust code. If you can reject and order another car, go for it. Unfortunately it sounds like your salesperson either didn't know what they're actually selling or they were just trying to get a car sold. The actual U78 performance exhaust can only be added at the factory and cannot be added at the dealership.

You can tell whether or not it's a PE by just driving it (or test driving, if you haven't accepted the car yet). Cars with PE will pop and crackle pretty loudly in Sports + when you're doing some spirited driving. The fact that you don't have the actual button tells me that your car doesn't have it... kinda defeats the purpose of a valve controlled exhaust if you can't open/close the value.

^, it's too late to get one now, just go for an aftermarket exhaust. There are many good ones out there that can match the OEM PE Exhaust.

Just make sure to get your money back if you paid for it but they most likely didn't charge you as the code is incorrect.
