that’s with map 6 that’s a lot less aggressive than map 2. To hot and humid where I live so map2 without cooler temps and/or without higher ocatene makes ecu not give piggy requested boost. I’ll try race gas soon and see how that goes.but given the right circumstances piggy I think piggy can get the car to a hi 11s 1/4

Only if Terry developed that JB4. I am sure there would be a lot of demand for it. The only reason I did not got for JB1 yet because it does not adjust the Fuel Trim. Meaning with higher boost, the engine probably runs lean. JB4 could have adjusted that. I would have slept better at night haha.

Ecu monitors AFR, I’m pretty sure if it approaches unsafe levels it would pull boost or timing.

We should start a thread solely devoted to willing buyers so he gets a clearer picture on demand. They (BMS/Terry) are clearly and rightfully-so operating under a "this is a business and it needs to make business sense" mentality and I don't think he's seeing the same level of interest/demand we are on this forum. Their bread & butter is BMW after all and the two groups probably don't cross-troll the boards all that much...I know I don't go searching through the N54 forums for anything other than what's related to our cars.

That looks like a good idea. It would probably give Terry a better idea of the demand for a full blown JB4. Just a simple headcount of how many of us would be interested. Mind opening one Richard haha?

I personally think there is 100% a case for it. The JB1 is already getting better numbers than a full AMR ECU tune. A JB4 would 100% better that. I think there would be a very few who would bother with a full tune if they can get the more gains for cheaper minus the headaches that comes with a full ECU tune.

With an adjusted AFR/ fuel trim for added boost, it will be solid as HELL!

Full ECU tune is much faster. I have Eurocharged and I run 11.7 at 117 on 93 octane. The biggest difference is that the ECU tune changes settings to the ECU, The JB4 just try's to trick the ECU in certain area's to think the car is not running enough boost and other things

We know that already. And we also know how Merdedes handles problems when **** hits the fan. Piggy back removes a lot of that headache in that scenario. And JB is cheaper, much cheaper.
