Is this a joke or are you being serious?
For those of you waiting for the JB4 upgrade it’s here! Terry got it going on Friday and offered to upgrade my JB1. I declined the offer because how many of us really want to go to JB4?
Just kidding. I got mine upgraded🤗. I should be receiving soon.
BIG THANX TO TERRY!!!
You’re the AWESOMENEST!!

Post up your thoughts on the GLC 43/63 thread once you've had time with the JB4, if you don't mind...very interested. I tried to register and ask some ?'s on n54tech, but can't get by the stupid anti-spam question. Thanks!

FYI. I got my JB4 upgrade last night. I was able to install in about 10 minutes(8 minutes to get OBD II lead through grommet using coat hanger and tape method). Only 1 prob....issue. Unable to clear downp.... 👀 downpour CEL.

2. Take wire coat hanger and straighten with pliers leaving a small bend at one end to grip.
3. push the coat hanger though the X into the cabin. You should see it pop out through the large rubber area near break pedal. Leave the hanger there.
4. Cut an X around the hanger you just pushed through. It should be large enough for the small end of OBD plung to fit through.
5. Tape the small plug and at least 2-3 inches of the cable onto the hanger and pull through from the engine bay. Toull get some resistance from the insulation wool but you should be able to get it through. The firewall grommet will pop out when you do this. Just push it back in once you have enough cable to plung into JB4. It have mine mounted near break booster.
Hope this helps. I can send pictures of my install if you need additional help.
