AMG steering wheel trim / cover fitment question
I have just purchased the lower AMG steering wheel trim to fit to my standard wheel (the bit below).
I found an old thread over in the general W205 forum with instructions on how to fit it, as well as pictures of the gap left on the back due to a difference in wheel thickness.
Now one user on that thread mentioned that the gap can be solved by breaking some tabs on the trim, but I can't quite see how that is possible.
So my question is, has anyone here performed this mod, did you solve the fitment problem?
The gap is truly distracting if you hold the wheel there or park the car with that part angled up.
Now to search for an actual AMG wheel
