For everyone with the tune or considering getting it, how confident are you that the parts of the car can withstand the added stress? Genuine question coming from someone with a shallow understanding of cars.

As tuners become more confident, the tunes will get more aggressive. They’re still easing into it.
I think our platform is pretty solid. But that’s really based on nothing but my own speculation. Good luck

It looks like the same hardware in the 4matic system is used in the GLE 63's, so I assume it has some solid structural integrity.
The 9G-Tronic transmission technical spec says the maximum input torque is 700Nm(516 ftlb).
I know there are other places where failure is possible, but these are just a few that are easily analyzed.

MBWorld Fanatic!
So what's this "Dragy verified" stuff? And OP, that is some awesome digs! I'm jealous of the 3k rpm launch point. I've been wanting that since day one. 2500-2800 seems like it would be the sweet spot for a grippy track. The 2000 is just a hair too low for public roads.
Btw, congrats on 11s! I haven't been around for like 6 months so last I knew, low 12s were the best our car had done. I couldn't find any YouTube vids of your 1/4 run, is there one? and what was your trap speeds?
What the labcoat nerds calculate and decide to be the suggested maximum input tolerance, and what a transmission will do in the real world is rarely one in the same. Could very well be, but if I were to guess, I'd say they will hold strong far past what the engineers suggest (who overbuild for warranty & safety concerns).
Now I'm not very well versed on the history on how well Benz/AMG power and drivetrains hold up to excess power, but I know that Audi's could always handle 2x's the factory torque numbers. For the models with factory FI, they could go as much as 3x's the factory output without worry... This is all referring to the gearsets, shafts, axles, etc. but not the stock clutches. They would hold for daily driving use. But not for weekend track abuse. So does anyone know the logistics in upgrading the clutch packs on these "SpeedShift" transmissions? Probably not a necessary avenue to go down until we get to swapping out turbos and making 600Awtq. Mostly just throwing it out there as I believe the transmission is going to be the first and only hardware issue we run into sub ~800hp
