I admit that I was unaware the low profile run flat tires that came with my C43 would only last 18,000 miles. The dealer told me this is not unusual and I am not a guy who goes around burning rubber. Hence, given my lease is for 42 months and 35,000 miles I had to payout $1,500 for four new tires and an alignment. If I had known better I should have put the best radials on the car and stored the run flats in the garage. That way I could have made it to 30k plus miles on the radials and put the run flats back on before turning in the car. In the current situation I will likely need to shell out another $1,500 before I turn in the car. Lesson learned for anyone leasing a AMG with staggered fit run flat tires.
