C450 exhaust question?
Hello everyone. I have been considering the AWE Touring exhaust, but was.wondering how it compares to stock. YouTube videos don't quite do it justice. Also, do I have to chance the ECU to accommodate the new exhaust? Thanks.

AWE is a great mod. It will make the car sounds as it should.


No need to change ECU

Fantastic. I am guessing it is noticeably louder than stock, correct? I would hate to spend $1700+ for only a marginally audible difference.

I have the AWE Touring exhaust on my C43. It is definitely louder, even in Comfort mode. When you get on it, the exhaust is much louder.

Any reason why you bought the AWE instead of just speccing your c43 with the performance exhaust?

I bought the car from dealer inventory. It shouldn't impact any warranty other than of course the exhaust.

Any basic muffler shop can install one.

It is all bolt on no cutting involved.

Even with basic hand tools the exhaust can be installed quite easily

Looking into exhaust options (just catback) but I don’t want to lose the crackles and pops. Enhance them yes....

I did end up purchasing the AWE touring exhaust and I absolutely love it. The crackles and pops are definitely louder.

AWE is an excellent exhaust, car sounds like the way it should. Bolder, deeper tone, without any droning. Will notice a smoother power delivery on the HWY, they claim +7 HP, which is a nice plus. Let that engine breathe!
