Intercooler builds
Shout out to Eurocharged Houston for having me test out the new turbo's and custom tune. Completely different car.
I say this with a smile. " The car pulls harder, longer for days- Hits 140 like nothing" Is anyone making intercooolers for our cars? |
Post a video and some pictures! I live about 20 minutes away from them. Might have to stop by at some point. What kind of dyno number are are you making? |

The tune I currently have is for 93 octane. I am looking to get a 100 octane .I |
I hear you. But any numbers for those who i can only assume would run 93 octane? Hope EC can chime in on this for us.

Can't share power numbers for something that's not released yet. Would really like to, but can't

My guess is something around 460 whp on pump gas and close to 500 whp on race. Let's see what EC says. Id say it traps around 123-124 and will get close to 128 or so on race. |
Slightly off topic, but are the pistons in our cars forged? How much boost can these motors take on stock internals now that turbo kits are being introduced?
When I had my CTS-V and cranked the boost up to 17 psi, I put head bolts in to prevent the heads from floating. |

Yes I think the larger turbine wheels in the stock housing would show gains of around 50 whp on pump gas. You trapped 117 with the tune on 93 pump, so let's say I'm a little off and you make more than the 50 whp I projected, maybe 60 then, hence the 123-124 trap...very excited to see what you post!

It would be pretty cool if a tuner could implement some sort of launch control into the infotainment. That alone would be worth a few hundred.
