Winter Beater or Snow Tires?
Hey all, just curious if everyone drives their C43's year round, or when the weather gets frightful they have a winter beater? Or just drop that money on a good set of winter tires and let er rip! Coming from the Subaru STI world this was what I used to do, but with a $60k Mercedes I'm wondering. Specifically in New England where a Nor'Easter can dump a foot plus of snow given the right conditions. Appreciate the insight, patiently(somewhat) awaiting my October delivery C43!

I live in the northeast as well(NJ), so I do partly feel your pain. I've taken the C43 out in some pretty bad snowstorms with the stock pzero's and managed relatively well. In any car, you're going to slide and have issues when driving irresponsibly (as we almost all do with a car like this) in the snow, but it definitely handles very well for a sports car. If you get very bad snow, snow tires are never a bad idea just to be safe - but I don't think you're going to be immobile or screwed as long as you're being sensible. I've managed just fine without them.

I drive this as a year round, and you will see on several tire threads that people do the same. I opted to wing it with my all season tires this year and had no issues, so I will be doing that for now.
You will also see some c63 owners doing the same. If you live in particularly bad snowy areas then snow tires may not be a bad idea.
Its all wheel drive so it’s perfectly suitable to do the dirty stuff
