AMG key back with new C43?

Is there any definitive conclusion on whether a new C43 comes with the AMG key back or not? Sometimes I hear yes, sometimes no.

i believe the face lift has the completely new key. not just a key back and has amg logo. all 2018 and earlier sme came with and some not. its expensive for a piece of plastic to make you feel good about yourself :)

It does not come with the key. The dealer can include it if they choose, but they have to buy the key back from the parts department just like you would.

Just go on Ebay or Amazon to buy them, dealer will want $100+ for them if you go to the parts department.

It didn't come with my car, I ended up buying it from ebay for around $15.

2019 model comes with a key that looks similar to the E-class key.
