Dashcam options

I've used some in the past, just wondering what some of you use for dashcams and which kind? Currently debating a Vantrue N2 Pro. I like the option to somewhat see out the back and side without having to hardwire or run a second cam and mounting via suction cup.

Hi Mveovr
I am using the dr750s 2ch blackvue. hardwired mine and found tucking the wires behind the upholstery not hard at all. main issue for me was mounting. didn’t want to mount on the glass. sits too low/ obstructs and bit of an eyesore. mounted on the black trim behind mirror instead. but the sticky pads dont hold long and in heat it eventual drops. solution? the magnetic holders for phones that have stick plates? i removed the trim, put the magnets behind it and stuck my camera to the metal plate. now it is easily detached if i want to but stays inplace otherwise. can upload pix later. as for camera, the cloud connection to download is slow. love the rest.

This thread is in the C63 Forum. Probably has some information that you can use.

I'm using a BlackVue DR900S-2CH for front and rear coverage. The front camera is 4K and 60 FPS which is great for capturing detail (license tag) info better. The rear camera is 1080P. I have it hard wired to provide for parking mode recording, but it can also be installed into the cigarette lighter. It was pretty easy to set up overall.
