Facelift C43 grille and star
 

This is now the fourth grille my car has had on it and I thought I would share pictures of probably the first C43 with the facelift grille.

I bought the grille for 400 euros from kunzmann.de. Unfortunately it turned out the pre-facelift star does not fit on the facelift grille so I had to wait an extra few days for them to order and send out a facelift star (which they kindly did for free!).

The new facelift star looks great, very similar to the distronic star but with the star itself raised against the black background.

I've gone from the stock silver diamond grille, to the night edition diamond grille, to the panamericana grille and then now to this.

I'm a big fan of all of the final three, but I think this one suits the car and the colour the most.

The price has gone up about 200 EUR since I bought it because they now include the star.

You selling the panamericana grill? Where did you get that?

That looks so good, I'm thinking about getting one for my '16 C300. I currently have the Diamond Burst in gloss black with a Distronic Star. Car doesn't have distronic but I wanted the look. I can't believe yours looks so good for a decent price! How was fitment? Sometimes these grilles do not fit correctly.

The night edition is my favorite. Looks gorgeous!

The facelift grille is an OEM part so fitment is absolutely perfect :)

Nice. I followed your link and spec'd one out. However it seems that the price changes drastically for older w205 models and including distronic/360 camera. Went from $399 to $699 real quick!

Yeah the price went up by a lot as they now include the facelift star.

I was the first one to buy it and at the time they assumed the pre-facelift star would fit the new grille. Luckily for me they sent out the new star for free as an apology :)

If anyone is interested in the night edition grille, I have it on eBay currently (173422078909) - UK only.

Ah okay, so it comes with all of this now including the star and mesh background, whereas you had one sent to you.

Yep though the star looks exactly like the picture for cars without distronic and does not have the sort of mesh behind it.

The star can be removed and is separate from the baseplate so you could try and source an aftermarket or get it painted.

you mentioned the aftermarket panamericana messed with your 360 camera.

however, when you bought it did it specifically state it would work with the 360 camera? reason being is there's another vendor selling two versions now, one that works with the camera and one that doesn't. just curious if yours promised to work with it or was that a discovery you found later post installation?

Yes it was specifically for cars with the 360 camera. The ones that aren't don't even have the housing to mount the camera.
