Dinan Elite only 0-60 and 1/4 mile times?
I just bought a 2018 C43 as my daily driver. It is totally stock. I am loving the car and I am already looking at mods. I am obviously trying to mitigate any potential warranty issues. I am also looking at a JB4 but the Dinan Elite has the supplementary warranty....
I am looking for information on a Dinan Elite only 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. I am interested in the results. Are they significant?
I have not seen any information on any real issues (blown engines, smoked transmissions, etc) with even flash tuned cars? It appears that MB has made a stout car that can handle the extra power?

Sold ( with the ladyboy ). The only minor issue being that I'm in Australia. I'm more than happy to pay freight. I can arrange payment via paypal or similar.

I'm driving an 2018 C43 coupe now. In actual fact I'm in your neck of the woods early next year. Spending a week in NY with the missus.

Trips to the US are always expensive, particularly when your currency is as bloody worthless as ours is at the moment. I think the wife has a pretty tight itinery planned, I'll discuss up state with her though.
Would you be willing to ship the chip out to AU, assuming I pay freight?

I recently got back from a short vacation in Bali with the wife and a couplr of friends. The wife has been a few times. First night in she takes us to a quite little joint to watch some Cabaret, an hour later and plenty of cocktails and I'm up dancing on stage with the "girls". The photos the wife took will be held as potential blackmail material for the rest of my life. I doubt she be at all surprised to see me spending money on a draggy!!
No rush for for organising the fright, the C43 isn't exactly slow, even in stock form. I'll wait. Have a great thanksgiving

Yes, certainly interested. PM me your paypal address and I'll send over US$450(chip) + $50(draggy) + $100(freight). If it costs anymore, let me know and I'll send it accross. If there's any change, spend it on beer! (not that Bud lite crap though, proper beer)

Holy thread hijack...seriously, guys. Sven and the boys need to throw a beat down.
Anyway, OP, do a search on the forums and you might find more info on 0-60 and 1/4 mile times for Dinan cars. I'm sure it performs pretty well and if warranty is a major concern, you usually can't go wrong with Dinan, but you pay a bit more for it vs JB4, for instance. Coming from the BMW world, Dinan had/has a great reputation. I was interested in the Elite, but apparently doesn't work with my 43 (GLC43), so looking at Renntech or JB4. The only problems I've seen on the boards are ECU's bricking or CEL's thrown and it does seem like MB has stout internals. Good luck!

Actually I cannot recall 1 thread where somebody posted a 0-60 or 1/4 ET with the Dinan piggyback.
I recall some saying it felt good and some saying their unit was not working.

Sorry to OP for the hijack, you are all correct to critise, won't happen again. For what it's worth, I had a Dinan chip on a 330i Bmw previously, it was excellant. On the C250 (Aussie C300) I had the BMS chip (the one before the JB4). It was really very good, however the car really didn't like having any amount of E85 added, lots of check engine lights and limp home mode. Engine blew up eventually, though MB said unrelated issue.
