2019 Summer vs All-Season tires
I'm wondering what kind of tires people are running on their C43's, summer vs all-season. I live in the north east so snow is an issue. I ordered the 19" all summer wheels/tires and I know the tires are garbage.
What all-season tires are people running on 19" rims? Do you get good grip with them in the summer? how do they handle the snow?
Thanks in advance!

Go to TireRack and read volumes of reviews and comparisons. On my wife's M235 I just went from MPSS to Michelin AS3+ and I think they are excellent. They have most of the sharpness of a summer tire, lots of dry grip and are very good in the wet. The "+" is for snow, but I haven't had a chance to try that yet. Our TN snows are usually minimal, but I do need a tire that won't be bad in the snow like a MPSS was. (M235 is our daily, soon to be a C43)

Michelin AS3+.
Best AS performance tires on the market right now are the AS3+ an the DW06.
These do OK in light snow but If I were in a region with heavy winter snowfall I would run winter tires on my daily.

I’m having Extreme Comtacts put on my car right at the dealership before I pick it up (whenever that is). I’ll put the OEM tires back on there in the spring. Slightly worried about going without a spare for the winter but we’ll see.

any reason you are going with the Conti's over the Michelin A/S? I'm debating between the two. The conti's are $100 cheaper on tire rack.

Well the Michelin and Conti are the two best AS tires that fit the stock 19's. I've had the Contis on an Audi S4 wagon in the past and thought they were great. Also, my dealership is a Conti dealer and could get them for me easily. I'm paying a few dollars more than I should, but I don't have to bring the car anywhere else and I don't have to worry about another shop giving me a hard time after they damage my rims.

They are very closely matched. These two tire models are a tier above the rest of the competition. I would get whichever one poses the least hassle as far as installation and turn around time.

I do 30k per year for work. Tires are a yearly buy. For A/S I've had good luck with the DWS 06, and for a bit more money, the Mich A/$ 4. Either is good, the mich are a bit more directional in feel.
