wheel alignment issue
I had 2017 c43 and recently noticed that the inside wall of both front tires are damaged (p zero runflat with approximately 20000km). So i took the car to mechanic shop, and they told me that I need to do wheel alignment. Please see following pic attached. The result is from hunter wheel alignment machine and I was told camber and caster were not adjustable. After alignment, toe at one side is approximately 1.4 degree in, before it was close to 0 degree. If I stand behind the car, and comparing the front and rear wheel, I can tell front wheel is toe in. I tried to talk to mechanic, they told me toe is within the specific range according to the hunter wheel alignment machine. Is there anybody can help me with the wheel alignment? Is there something wrong? Thanks a lot. By the way, I have noticed the wheels had huge negative camber since I picked it up new from dealership. Do all c43 have huge negative camber from factory?

yes they do this is a common issue with our car.
it is even worse if you are lowered only way to adjust camber is with a aftermarket kit for about 400 or so dollars |

I'd be pretty upset if that was the alignment before and after if I paid for it.
If anything, they made it worse and did little to nothing to correct some of the glaring issues and only introduced more. |
Search around on this forum, I believe someone has already posted a wheel alignment sheet with the OEM specs somewhere... It would be good to compare your measurements with theirs.

Yes, I did find the link https://mbworld.org/forums/c450-c43-...pec-sheet.html. But his result is showing different units and I tried to convert them from mm to degree. After the conversion, his toe is pretty close to 0 degree. Actually I showed his result to my mechanic and had my car checked again at the shop, but my mechanic still trusted his machine's result. The result of second wheel alignment is the same as first one. Maybe, I should try another shop. Thx.
